Is the world going to end soon, like in 2012 or 2018 or something?

First, 2012 was one of the worst movies I've seen in recent memory. Second, the world will not end in 2012, that is a theory based of the end of the Mayan calendar. What most people don't realize is that the Mayans predicted numerous ends of the world, one being the year they were wiped out by Conquistadors. A major world power may fall, but the world won't end.
