What are the short term and long term effects of 2004 Tsunami which hit Sri lanka ?

Short terms affects were the damages of premises , killing of 14 thousands, cutting off communication and transportation in the affected areas. Long term effects were the decline of the rate of economic growth, rise of unemployment .
